Working in textile construction, sculpture and embroidery - materials and environment are intrinsic to my practice. I predominantly seek natural materials: homegrown | vintage | discarded | foraged; and create amalgamated works that explore and honour the unique properties of each.

I explore the notion of belonging via the abstract visual recording of places past and present - through textures, patterns, colours and shapes and I consider our interconnectedness, through our own ancestors and to each other and our affinity with and reliance on the natural world.
